We Need You
The Children's Aid Society of the Districts of Sudbury and Manitoulin is in need of Volunteer Drivers, Volunteer Tutors and Cultural Mentors.
All applicants are subject to a screening process. References, Criminal Record Checks, and interviews are completed prior to program acceptance.
We look for Volunteers who:
Are committed to long term volunteering
Are dependable, punctual, mature, responsible
Enjoy spending time with children
Are open to learning
Have good communication skills
The Volunteer Coordinator will match an appropriate volunteer to a "Request for Volunteer" according to the needs of the client and the volunteer’s skills.

Volunteers gain a sense of self-fulfillment, knowledge that you have made a difference, develop skills, gain work experience, develop transferable skills, and increase social awareness.
Volunteers will be given an orientation and offered workshops on various topics during the year.
Volunteers are invited to participate in a Yearly Volunteer Recognition Event in April for National Volunteer Appreciation Week and our drivers are invited to a Christmas Volunteer Driver Potluck.
Mileage reimbursement per kilometre is given for in-jurisdiction drives based on the Agency's Reimbursement Policy.
