Cookies, community, and a whole lot of smiles!

The Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie campaign officially launched in Sudbury on November 17th, bringing together community partners, local media, and some impressive cookie-decorating talent! From precision icing to big smiles and lots of laughter, the event set the tone for a week where Sudbury was ready to let its kindness shine.

Generosity, Collaboration, and Local Impact
Following our launch event, the enthusiasm and generosity continued all week long, generating a beautiful buzz of excitement. From fun times spent in Tim Hortons stores to the final cookie sold, so many played a part in bringing this year’s Holiday Smile Cookie campaign to life.

Tim Hortons owners, managers, restaurant teams powered through the week, baking and preparing thousands of cookies at an impressive pace. Their momentum was matched by partners, foster parents, families, youth, and CASDSM staff who volunteered their time to roll up their sleeves to decorate and package cookies with care and enthusiasm. The combined energy of everyone involved kept the campaign moving and helped carry it across our community in a meaningful way.

Incredible Results for CASDSM and Our Community
We are honoured to share that this year’s Holiday Smile Cookie campaign raised an outstanding $77,077.02 for CASDSM! Nationally, the campaign reached a historic milestone of over $13 million, supporting local charities and Tim Hortons Foundation Camps from coast to coast.

Locally, these funds will support children, youth, and families through programs and initiatives not covered by our core funding, such as emergency supports, youth engagement activities, and family-centred resources that help strengthen well-being and connection. These areas provide vital support during challenging moments, offering greater stability and access to meaningful resources when they are needed most.

The Strength of Local Community Support
This year’s success was also made possible thanks to the generosity of local businesses, media, and community sponsors who rallied behind the campaign. Whether promoting the initiative, joining us at launch, sharing messages across their networks, or collaborating throughout the week, these contributions amplified our efforts and helped bring the Holiday Smile spirit to every corner of our vibrant city. Their support reflects the deep-rooted community commitment that strengthens our ability to serve children, youth, and families.
