Our Commitment to Truth and Reconciliation

Land Acknowledgment

We acknowledge the sacred land on which we operate on is the traditional territory of the Atikameksheng Anishnawbek, of the Mamaweswen Tribal Council, part of the Robinson-Huron Treaty area. We affirm our commitment to improving relationships between nations and our individual responsibility to understand and learn about the history of all Indigenous peoples and their cultures, and the ancestral and unceded territory we inhabit.

The Children’s Aid Society of the District of Sudbury and Manitoulin is committed to the Truth and Reconciliation process and journey to support and promote Indigenous wellbeing.
