The Children’s Aid Society of Sudbury and Manitoulin (CASDSM) is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Thriving African Families, an organization dedicated to empowering the African community in the Sudbury area.
This partnership reflects our shared commitment to supporting children and families by fostering cultural understanding, bridging gaps, and building trust. Through collaboration, we aim to create meaningful connections and ensure that families feel empowered and supported.
This announcement follows a successful community engagement event held on Saturday, September 14th, 2024, at St. Peter’s United Church in Sudbury. The event welcomed members of the African community and provided a platform for open dialogue and cultural exchange. Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions, gain clarity about CASDSM’s services, and better understand how we work to support families in our community.
We are sincerely grateful to Thriving African Families for their visionary leadership and commitment to this partnership. Their efforts have been pivotal in creating a collaborative framework that enhances our ability to support African families in the Sudbury area.
We deeply value this opportunity and look forward to working together to create lasting positive change for the families we serve.
