The Board of Directors of the Children’s Aid Society of the Districts of Sudbury and Manitoulin (CASDSM) is currently seeking committed and community-minded individuals to join its Board.

Board members play a vital role in advancing the Society’s vision: “Working in partnership for children and youth to have safe and supportive families.

About CASDSM
CASDSM is a bilingual, independently governed, not-for-profit, provincially funded organization that provides essential services to protect and support infants, children and youth at risk of abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Through inclusive partnerships with families, communities, and service providers, CASDSM works collaboratively to promote safety, well-being, and strong family connections.

Who We Are Looking For
The Board is particularly interested in individuals with experience or expertise in areas such as:

✔️ Community Leadership
✔️ Strategic Planning / Risk Management

A strong commitment to child welfare, community service, and good governance is essential.

Term of Appointment Board members are appointed for a three (3) year term and may be eligible for renewal up to a maximum of three consecutive terms.
